Many people who are arrested for drunk driving want to know what they can do to help themselves.
The best advice that I can give you is to take some time, as soon as possible, to write down chronologically everything that you did during that day and evening.
Include what you ate, drank, medications taken, and whether or not you were feeling well. Also include the people you were with. Anybody who may be able to testify as a witness with regard to the way you were behaving as well as how much you had to drink.
This information will be critical in helping your attorney evaluate the case and determine what defenses there are and to effectively raise those defenses in court.
