The secondary potential sanctions are called driver's license sanctions. Those are sanctions imposed against your driving privilege. If you have no prior convictions within 7 years, then the driver's license sanction if you are found guilty as charged, will be a 180 day suspension. With no driving in the first 30 days following by a 150 day restricted driving privilege.
On the other hand, if you have a prior conviction within 7 years, then your license will be revoked for one year with no lawful driving allowed during this period. If you have two prior convictions within 10 years, then your license revocation period will be 5 years. Again, during this time there is no lawful driving allowed whatsoever.
